Afternoon Tea

Leadership Experience & Afternoon Tea

Women Achieving Greatness in Social Care, in partnership with Care England

Building on the conversation started by The Overlooked Majority

Hosted by broadcaster Sameena Ali-Khan
Special guest conversation with Kate Garraway

📅 Tuesday 27 October 2026
🕚 11:00am – 4:00pm
📍 Hilton London Bankside

From report to reality

Care England’s landmark report, The Overlooked Majority, highlighted an important challenge: while women make up the majority of the adult social care workforce, they remain underrepresented in leadership and continue to face barriers to progression.

Leadership Experience & Afternoon Tea is the next step in that conversation. Created by Women Achieving Greatness in Social Care in partnership with Care England, this unique event brings together influential leaders, inspiring speakers and future changemakers for an afternoon of honest conversations, practical insights and meaningful connections.

Hosted in a relaxed, television-style format by broadcaster Sameena Ali-Khan, the programme replaces traditional presentations with engaging interviews, audience discussions and interactive conversations, creating an inspiring environment where delegates become part of the dialogue.

Whether you’re an established leader or aspiring to take the next step in your career, you’ll leave with fresh perspectives, valuable new connections and practical ideas to help shape the future of leadership in adult social care.
